Understanding Tokens

Every message you send and every response your agent generates uses tokens. Tokens are roughly equivalent to word fragments — a typical message exchange uses a few hundred tokens, while longer conversations or complex tasks use more. Your token balance resets monthly. You can check your current usage anytime with the /context slash command or from the dashboard.
